Expenses for the production of agricultural products in Ukraine in January-February 2017 increased by 25.2% compared to the same period in 2016.
This is reported by UNIAN with reference to State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
According to the report, the cost of production of plant origin products during the reporting period increased by 28%, whereas animal origin prosucts increased by 18.9%.
In February, in comparison with January, the costs of agricultural production increased by 3.9%. In particular, the total expenditure on crop production increased by 4.9% last month and livestock production by 1.1%.
It is noted that the volume of costs for material and technical resources of industrial origin used in agricultural production for the two months of this year increased by 29.4% compared to the same period of the last year. At the same time, in February, compared to January, the growth of these costs was 4.9%.
It is worth to mention that the cost of agricultural production in Ukraine in 2016 compared with 2015 increased by 13.5%.
