Since the beginning of MY 2016/17 (as of April 12), Ukraine exported 35.03 MMT of grain, which is 2.91 MMT more than for the same period last season.
This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, as of the reporting date, Ukraine exported 14.99 MMT of wheat, which is 1.59 MMT more than in the same period last year.
Barley exports for the reporting period amounted to 4.9 MMT, which is 0.82 MMT more than for the corresponding period of MY 2015/16.
The volume of corn export was 14.93 MMT, which is 0.49 MMT more compared to the same period last season.
At the same time, in the current marketing year, rye supplies decreased by 9 KMT to 4 KMT.
It is noted that for the period from 1 to 12 April 2017, Ukraine exported 1.17 MMT of grain.
