Since the beginning of 2016/17 and as of May 3, Ukraine exported 37.2 MMT of grain, which is 3.03 MMT more for the same period of the last season.
This is reported by ProAgro with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, as of the reporting date, Ukraine exported 15.8 MMT of wheat, which is 1.5 MMT more than in the same period of the last year.
Barley exports for the reporting period amounted to 5.13 MMT, which is 903 KMT more than for the corresponding period of MY 2015/16.
The volume of corn exports amounted to 16.06 MMT, which is 572 KMT more compared to the same period of the last season.
At the same time, in the current marketing year, rye supplies decreased by 9 KMT to 4,3 KMT.
It is worth to mention that as of May 3, 2017 Ukrainian farmers sowed spring grains and leguminous crops on 4.7 MMT, which is 65% of the forecast.
