As of January 13, 2 693 land auctions have been announced in Prozorro.Sells system. Of these, 1,800 auctions on the lease and 893 – on the alienation of land, reports “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
The total area of land offered for lease reaches almost 13 thousand hectares. The price of these lots is 66 million UAH.
The top 5 regions with the highest starting price of lots are Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovograd, Kyiv and Lviv regions. The most expensive cost of the yearly land rent is observed in Odessa region, where it costs more than 11 thousand UAH per hectare.
The total area of land plots that are sold through Prozorro.Sells is more than 1.3 thousand hectares. All these lots are valued at 776 million UAH. There are 168 companies which submitted bids.
We are talking about private or non-agricultural land, because according to the Land Code the sale of agricultural land in state and municipal property is prohibited. The price increase at the bidding has already reached almost 200%.
