
Kyiv region farms continue to gather crops. Today there is news from the “agrarian front” – there have been threshed more than a million tons of grain and leguminous crops from the area of 342.92 thousand hectares.
The head of Kyiv Regional State Administration Oleksiy Kuleba wrote about it on his Telegram page, reports “ProAgro Group”.
In particular, farmers have already harvested and threshed: winter and spring wheat – 787.15 tons, winter and spring barley – 166.3 thousand tons, rye – 17.84 thousand tons, oats – 1.32 thousand tons and millet – 0.62 thousand tons. In addition, the region has already fully harvested peas – 15.7 thousand tons.
Now the farms are preparing to sow winter crops for the harvest of 2023.
“In the conditions of war the agrarians of the Kiev region continue to work tirelessly, without slowing down. After all, they have an important mission – to accumulate food reserves for our region and the state”, – said the head of the region.
