According to the results of January-February 2017, Ukraine exported 8.1 KMT of eggs in shell to the amount of $6.99 million.
This was reported by Delo with reference to the data of State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
According to the report, imports of eggs for the reporting period amounted to 402 t worth of $1.2 million. Thus, the positive balance of foreign trade in eggs in the shell for January-February 2017 amounted to $5.8 million.
It is noted that top places among main importers of this Ukrainian product for the first two months of this year divide as follows: the UAE ($4.6 million, share in total – 66%); Liberia ($631 thousand, share – 9%); Syrian Arab Republic ($520 thousand, share – 7.4%).
At the same time, Ukraine imported eggs in shell from Bulgaria ($506 thousand, share – 42.3%), Slovakia ($ 357 thousand, share – 29.9%) and Poland ($ 176 thousand, share – 14,7%).
