The registration for receiving equipment for working with grain sleeves has been extended

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is implementing a program to provide farmers with temporary grain storage facilities (grain bins). Thanks to the support of the governments of Canada, Japan and the Minderoo Foundation, Ukrainian farmers will receive about 31 thousand grain sleeves with a capacity of 200 tons each, which will provide storage of 30% of the national need, ProAgro Group reports with reference to the information of the ministry.

In continuation of this program, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and FAO are registering to receive 105 sets of special equipment for loading and unloading grain sleeves. One set consists of 1 loader, 1 unloader and 1 reloading hopper, and will be provided for loading at least 292 grain hoses.

Registration takes place in two stages: for recipients of equipment and for their selection by agricultural producers.

The second stage will last until December 15, with the name of the program in the State Agrarian Register “Selection of the recipient of equipment – provider of services for loading grain storage sleeves received from FAO”. During this stage, recipients of grain hoses from FAO can apply for services for filling the received hoses and choose from the list the operator company that, in their opinion, should receive the equipment, as well as indicate the number of hoses to be loaded by the selected operator.
