The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has reinstated Yaroslav Pohorelyy as chairman of the State Reserve Agency of Ukraine, ProAgro Group reported, citing information from the agency.
“Pursuant to the ruling of the Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal of September 1, 2021, restore Pohorely Yaroslav Andreevich to the position of Chairman of the State Agency of the Reserve of Ukraine from May 16, 2020,” the statement said.
Earlier, on May 13, 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Yaroslav Pohorelyy from position of the chairman of the State Reserve Agency, but he refuted this decision in court.
Pohorelyy was appointed as head of the State Reserve Agency in December 2019. During his tenure, he raised the issue of theft in the structure of state enterprises, which led to a high-profile scandal, after which he was fired.
