In Mykolaiv oblast in Velikoserbulsvka village of Voznesensk district an outbreak of avian influenza has been detected. This is reported by “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the regional department of the State Service for Consumer Rights Protection.
“According to the results of the study of Mykolaiv regional state laboratory of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in a sample of pathological material from 5 dead birds (2 chickens, 2 turkeys, 1 goose) RNA of avian influenza virus type A1 subtype H5 was found”, – officials said.
To localize the outbreak of the disease, 1 quarantine and police post was set at the entrance to the village. From October 12 to 18 households of Velikoserbulovka village were inspected, 257 poultry (136 chickens, 86 geese, 1 duck and 34 turkeys) were seized and burnt in 16 households, relevant acts were made.
