As of February 21, 42 544 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops have been exported from Ukraine since the beginning of 2021/22 MY (July-June). This is reported by “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service, the current volume of grain exports is 11 576 thousand tons more than last year on a similar date.
Wheat shipments on the reporting date amounted to 17,849 thousand tons, which is 4,525 thousand tons more than last year. Barley was shipped abroad in the amount of 5 570 thousand tons, which is 1 614 thousand tons more.
There were also exported 160.1 thousand tons of rye against 1.7 thousand tons for the same period last season. Corn exports amounted to 18 683 thousand tons, which is 5 518 thousand tons more than a year earlier.
Since the beginning of this month, grain exports amounted to 4 074 thousand tons, including 798 thousand tons of wheat, 88 thousand tons of barley, 3.6 thousand tons of rye and 3 165 thousand tons of corn. Export of flour is 2.6 thousand tons.
