The liberation of the Snake Island from the Russian troops made it possible to use the Bystre estuary canal and the Danube-Black Sea shipping lane for the entry and exit of vessels transporting agricultural products. This is reported by the ProAgro Group with reference to the information of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
The Ministry noted the accumulation of a large number of ships waiting to pass through the Sulina channel.
According to the director of the Department of Agricultural Policy of Odesa Oblast State Administration Alla Stoyanova, now more than 160 ships are waiting in the Black Sea to enter the Sulina channel, but its capacity is only 5-6 ships per day.
