The group of companies “Rostok Holding” on the eve of the Independence Day has completed the harvesting of early crops, “ProAgro Group” reports referring to the information of the agricultural producer.
Gross harvest of winter wheat and spring barley amounted to 10.15 thousand tons.
“This year, the harvest has been held in extreme conditions. Adverse weather conditions: because of heavy rainfall during the last three weeks we had to take long breaks in work. Finally, there were problems with the export of products, “- said General Director of Rostock Holding” Dmitry Kupavtsev.
Nevertheless, the company coped with these challenges. In August Rostock Holding, after a two-month break, was finally able to start shipment of grain by rail. Therefore, the company has a positive outlook for the near future sales of the harvested crop.
“It is very symbolic that the end of the harvest coincided with the National Flag Day and took place on the eve of the Independence Day of Ukraine”, – said Dmytro Kupavtsev.
