In August Ukraine exported 1.921 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, and since the beginning of 2022/23 marketing year – 3.621 million tons.
As reported by ProAgro Group, this was stated by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy according to the State Customs Service.
It is noted that last year in August 4.601 million tons were shipped, and a total of 7.638 million tons of grain.
Most of all corn was exported in August – 1.167 million tons (1.334 million tons from the beginning of the current season), followed by wheat – 605 thousand tons (981 thousand tons from the beginning of the year), barley – 140 thousand tons (289 thousand tons), rye – 0.5 thousand tons (0.5 thousand tons).
Exports of flour in August amounted to 6.6 thousand tons (10.7 thousand tons since the beginning of the MY), including wheat – 5.9 thousand tons (9.3 thousand tons).
