Ukraine is constantly in touch with partners under the “grain agreement” – the UN and Turkey, and counts on the continuation of the grain corridor. This was stated by the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy Taras Vysotskyi on the air of the national marathon UAtogether, ProAgro Group reports.
According to him, more than 5.5 million tons of agricultural products have already been exported in two months. One third of this volume was shipped to African countries, as well as to the Middle East, Southeast Asia and other destinations. First of all, there is a great demand for wheat, as well as corn and sunflower oil.
Today, during his visit to Turkey, Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak met with Chief Advisor to the President of the Republic of Turkey Ibrahim Kalin.
As reported by Yermak in his Telegram channel, the parties noted the importance of further smooth functioning of the “grain initiative” to prevent a global food crisis.
