Good weather conditions during the last week contributed to the active conduct of autumn field work in the Rivne region. In particular, farmers are finishing threshing buckwheat and harvesting sunflower, “ProAgro Group” reports with reference to the information of the regional state administration.
In general, at present, agricultural enterprises of the region have threshed 73% of grain crops. The threshing of soybeans continues, and the digging of sugar beets continues. The harvesting of corn for grain has begun.
In households, they have finished digging potatoes and harvesting vegetables.
For the next year’s harvest, 25.1 thousand hectares of winter rape have been sown; sowing of winter cereals (winter wheat, winter barley, winter rye) continues. Sown 71% of the forecast.
