The indicators of soybean processing in February 2017 also showed a moderate decrease both in relation to the parameters of the previous month and in comparison with the results of February 2016. In general, as a result of September-February 2016/17, soybean processing volumes in Ukraine decreased by 5.7% compared to the same period of the previous season. In our opinion, the decrease in the volume of soybean processing in the current season is due to, firstly, the active export of raw materials and, secondly, to the reduction in demand for soybean meal / cake from the country”s livestock sector, in particular the poultry sector.
