Including early spring grain and leguminous crops sown on an area of 2.3 million ha or 97% of the forecast (2.4 million ha), including:
– spring wheat planted on 165 thousand ha or 93% of the forecast (178 thousand ha);
– spring barley – 1.5 mln ha or 94% of the forecast (1.6 million ha);
-oats – 195 thousand ha or 94% of the forecast (207 thousand ha);
– peas – 376 thousand ha or 114% of the forecast (330 thousand ha).
Corn was sown on 2.4 million ha or 53% of the forecast (4.5 million ha).
In addition, sugar beets were planted on 302 thousand ha or 103% of the forecast (293 thousand ha).
Sunflower sown on an area of 3.1 million ha or 57% (5.4 million ha).
Soy was planted on an area of 466 thousand ha or 24% of the forecast (1.9 million ha).
