Ukrainian exports to the EU increased by more than half in 9 months

The strengthening of cooperation in the field of trade and approximation of the Ukrainian legislation to the legal acts of the European Union are the themes that were discussed during the 6th meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Committee in Brussels. This is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to the information of the State Consumer Service.

“Negotiations with European colleagues are taking place amid an active growth of trade relations. Thus, for the 9 months of 2021 Ukrainian exports to the EU increased by 54%. This growth concerns not only raw materials. For example, the growth of processed food products was 25%. We have a significant progress, however, there is still a lot of work to be done, “- said the chairman of the SCS Vladyslava Magaletska, who participates in the Ukrainian delegation at the meeting.

According to her, the active strengthening of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU, particularly in trade, will take place within the framework of mutual approximation of the economies.

It is noted that the task of the State Consumer Service in support of Ukrainian exports is to overcome technical barriers to trade and provide state guarantees of compliance with the requirements of partner countries.
