The October forecast of IGC experts kept the world production of wheat in 2021/22 MY without significant changes – at the level of 780.8 million tons against 780.6 million tons in September estimate, which is still significantly higher than the result in 2020/21 MY (773.6 million tons).
At the same time, IGC raised its forecast of global corn yield in 2021/22 MY from 1.209 bln tons announced a month earlier to 1.210 bln tons due to relevant adjustments for the U.S.
