The State Fishery Agency of Ukraine has launched a new working group in the field of Aquaculture, the task of which is to develop promising proposals for the transition of this area to a substantially new quality level. This is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food.
The head of the agency Artem Rypenko noted that now there are a lot of problems in the field of aquaculture, which face people who want to start and develop their business in this sector.
In turn, the Minister of Agrarian Policy Roman Leshchenko, who on the International Day of Aquaculture (November 30) visited one of the fisheries in the Kyev oblast, said that the Ukrainian fishery sector needs to optimize and simplify the business.
“Aquaculture is a powerful agricultural production sector of the national economy. Ukraine should establish production of quality fish products”, – stressed the Minister.
