According to the results of 2020, Ukraine ranks 5th by the export volume of berries (raspberries, currants, red currants, blackberries) among the largest exporters of these products in the world, reports ProAgro Group with reference to UCAB data.
During this period, 21.4 thousand tons of berries were exported, which is 43% more than last year. At the same time, export revenues of 44 million USD were generated.
The main importing countries of Ukrainian berries were Poland (53% of Ukrainian exports), Germany (11%) and the Czech Republic (11%). In each of these markets in 2020, Ukrainian suppliers are among the largest.
Most of all Ukraine exports raspberries, and mostly in frozen form. In 2020, 18.6 thousand tons of berries were exported.
