The Egyptian port of Alexandria has refused to accept the Russian bulk carrier MATROS POZYNICH of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (which is under international sanctions), which was carrying 27,000 tons of grain stolen by the Rashists in the occupied Ukrainian territories from occupied Crimea.
According to ProAgro Group, Ukraine requested the Egyptian authorities not to accept the vessel.
It is noted that after that the ship changed its course, and the Lebanese port of Beirut was indicated as its new destination.
As of May 5, MATROS POZYNICH is navigating in the eastern Mediterranean Sea between Cyprus and Turkey.
Earlier, the portal “Peacemaker” reported that on April 28, the mentioned bulk carrier loaded 27 thousand tons of grain in the occupied Sevastopol, and on April 30 it left the port in the direction of the Egyptian port of Alexandria. However, the vessel’s transponder was not turned on until May 1.
