The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food has received 530 applications from business entities for partial reimbursement of the cost of breeding animals, bees, semen and embryos in the state support of livestock development. Reception of documents lasted until October 11, 2021.
According to the ministry, a total of 527.5 million UAH will be allocated and the cost of purchased breeding (genetic) resources will be reimbursed, in particular:
- cattle – 11,948 heads;
- pigs – 6,514 heads
- sheep – 6711 heads;
- goats – 864 heads;
- bee bundles, beehives – 711 heads;
- genetic material – 405.0 thousand doses.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy reported that the distribution of funds among the recipients will be approved by appropriate order, after which the budget funds will be sent to the business entities to the accounts they have opened in banks.
