The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to transfer the integral property complex of the state specialized budgetary institution “Agrarian Fund” to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
The corresponding decree the government adopted at the meeting on December 23, reports ProAgro Group.
According to the explanatory note to the document, the Agrarian Fund is now under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Economy, although it is the very authority of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy to develop and implement state policy in agriculture and food security of the state.
The protocol decision of the Cabinet of Ministers includes a proposal to instruct the Ministry of Economy to take the necessary measures to transfer budget financing of the Agrarian Fund to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food before the entry into force of the relevant transfer order.
