During the last week, 244 farmers received 673 million UAH under the affordable loan program “5-7-9”. In general, since June 1, agrarians have attracted loans from Ukrainian banks in the amount of 18.796 billion hryvnias, according to “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
The leaders in terms of lending for this period are Kyiv (3.167 billion UAH), Vinnytsia (2.897 billion UAH), Chernihiv (1.721 billion UAH), Khmelnytskyi (1.236 billion UAH), Sumy (1.111 billion UAH) and Kirovohrad (1.061 billion UAH) regions.
In general, in 2022, as of today, agrarians have already attracted loans in the amount of UAH 57.347 billion. Of these, for the sowing campaign by June 1 – in the amount of UAH 38.551 billion.
In general, 80% of loans in the amount of UAH 25.6 billion have been issued under the portfolio guarantee program. Farmers attract loans in the amount of 100 thousand to 90 million hryvnias under the program “Affordable Loans 5-7-9”.
The Ministry reminded that the Cabinet of Ministers approved the procedure for using UAH 1.5 billion to support small and medium-sized farmers and agricultural producers. And by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 916 of July 29, 2022, loans at a rate of 0% per annum, which were provided for the sowing campaign, were extended from 6 months to 12 months.
