Agricultural production in Ukraine increased by 14.4% thanks to crop output

Last year the growth of agricultural production in Ukraine was 14.4% compared to the previous year.

This is evidenced by the data of the State Statistics Service, reports “ProAgro Group” with reference to Agronews.

Thus, the production of crop grew by 19.9%, and livestock production decreased by 4.4%. In this regard, agricultural enterprises increased their performance by 19.2% over twelve months, while individual farms – by 5.5%.

The largest increase in total agricultural production occurred in Odessa (90.1%), Mykolaiv (42.6%) and Kirovograd (40.8%) regions. At the same time, the indicator decreased significantly in Sumy region – by 8.4%.
