Ukrainian banks have already issued UAH 6 744 million for the sowing campaign, which has been received by about 2,500 economic entities.
This was told during the telethon UArazom by the Vice Prime Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko, as ProAgro Group reports.
She noted that the crediting is carried out within the framework of the upgraded program “Affordable credits 5-7-9%. According to her, apart from farmers, food retailers may also get a loan. Such business entities can take a loan of up to 1 billion hryvnia at 5%.
We shall remind you that the government has allocated almost 20 billion for credit for the sowing season on favorable terms. For a loan of up to 60 million hryvnia there shall be a zero interest rate during six months. After that the rate will be 5%. Agrarians falling under the definition of an agricultural producer can take advantage of the loan.
