At a meeting on July 12, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Andrew Lordkipanidze as interim chairman of the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection. The government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk said this in Telegram, reports “ProAgro Group”.
Prior to that, after the dismissal of Vladislava Magaletska from the position of Chairman of the SSFCP on February 16, 2022, Anatoly Vovnyuk – Deputy Chairman for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization – acted as the head of the service.
Andrii Lordkipanidze himself also held the position of deputy chairman of the State Consumer Service since February 23. Two years ago, he had already worked in this position, but then was dismissed from it.
