During the year the average wage in the agricultural sector increased by more than 30%

In November 2021 the average nominal wage in Ukraine was 14.3 thousand UAH, which is 2.4 times higher than the minimum wage, says ProAgro Group with reference to the Ministry of Economy.

Compared with last November, it has increased by 19.2%, while real wages rose by 8%. Compared with October, the average wage in November increased by 1.7%.

“A significant factor in raising the level of wages continues to be an increase in the minimum wage, which rose to 6000 UAH since January this year, and from December 1 increased by another 500 UAH” – commented First Deputy Minister of Economy Denis Kudin.

According to the State Statistics Service, the positive trend of wage growth compared to November last year was observed in all types of economic activity.
