The Government has instructed the Ministry of Finance together with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy to study the issue of allocation of budget funds for state support of agricultural producers, particularly livestock in 2022.
This is reported by “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
Allocation of additional costs will be aimed at supporting the development of cattle breeding, namely:
- Cheaper purchase by agricultural enterprises, which are legal entities, highly productive cows, heifers, heifers (in the amount of up to 20,000 UAH per head);
- Special budgetary subsidy for agricultural enterprises which are legal entities, on breeding of bulls and heifers to the breeding age (in amount of 2 500 UAH and 3 000 UAH per head respectively);
- Special budgetary subsidy for keeping breeding stock of breeding (genetic) resources of local and endangered breeds (in the amount of about UAH 7 000 per head for cattle, UAH 2 300 for sheep and pigs, about UAH 12 000 per head for horses).
