Landowners in Ukraine can receive subsidies from the state. Applications are accepted until November 15 through the State Agrarian Register. The amount of payment for all will be the same – UAH 3.1 thousand per hectare of land, but not more than UAH 372 thousand per person.
The Coordination Center for Legal Aid said that applications for land subsidies are accepted from September 1, 2022, according to ProAgro Group. The state program for the payment of subsidies is designed exclusively for agricultural land registered in the State Land Cadastre and the State Register of Property Rights.
Individuals and legal entities that are citizens of Ukraine, cultivate at least 1 and not more than 120 hectares of agricultural land and meet the following criteria can become recipients of land subsidies during the war
- are not subjects of bankruptcy proceedings and are in the process of liquidation
- have not been brought to criminal liability and do not have an unexpunged or unexpunged criminal record and/or are not wanted;
- special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) have not been applied to them in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Sanctions”;
- as of the date of application, are registered, but do not actually reside and do not conduct their economic activity in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine or in the territories included in the list of communities located in the area of military (combat) operations, or which are temporarily occupied, surrounded (blocked), approved by the Ministry of Reintegration;
- do not have debts to the budget;
- do not conduct economic activities near the borders of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
If all the above criteria are met, the landowner can fill out an application for a subsidy through the State Agrarian Register until November 15 and soon receive the first payments.
