Already 4 690 Ukrainians have applied for grant programs under the project “eJob”. This is reported by “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
88% of all applications (4130) are the requests for micro grants for the beginning or development of own business. Micro grants are available to both newcomers and people who already have experience in entrepreneurship. Thanks to this money they can start their own business or expand it.
The second largest number of applicants – support of processing enterprises. The program aims to increase the share of processing in Ukrainian production and exports. Ukrainians have applied for 438 grants in this field, and with the help of received funds they will modernize their own enterprises for the production of finished products.
Also, 41 applications were received from farmers for grants to develop greenhouse and horticulture. The program will allow the state to compensate the losses caused by the temporary occupation of the regions where vegetable growing and gardening were actively developed. This will ensure the domestic market for agricultural products and increase the export potential of Ukraine.
