No funds have been allocated to support the agro-industrial complex in the draft state budget-2023

Yesterday, September 13, the government approved the draft law on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2023 and will soon submit it to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Due to martial law and severe restrictions on the agro-industrial complex, no funds have been allocated in the state budget, ProAgro Group reports with reference to AgroRolit.com.

The draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2023 provides, in particular, the allocation of resources for the following priority areas:

  • national security and defense – 1 141.1 billion UAH or 17.8% of GDP;
  • health care – UAH 175.7 billion
  • education – UAH 155 billion
  • pensions and social protection – UAH 835 billion
  • support for war veterans – UAH 6.8 billion
  • reserve fund – UAH 17.4 billion;
  • fund for liquidation of the consequences of armed aggression – UAH 19 billion
  • entrepreneurship development fund – UAH 16 billion;
  • grants to business – 1.37 billion UAH.

Thus, financial support for farmers is possible only under the condition of international financing of programs, said the Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solsky.
