Next year, the Ministry of Economy was tasked to intensify the reforms of privatization and corporatization of state assets.
This was stated by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, reports ProAgro Group with reference to the information of the Government portal.
“Last year we started the process of small-scale privatization. This year the big privatization was unblocked. Next year, too, we intend to intensify this reform. I urge diplomatic institutions also to help attract investors to open auctions,” Denis Shmygal said.
The head of the government also noted that the committee for the appointment of the supervisory boards within the frames of the corporatization of the enterprises is now regularly sitting on the appointment of the managers of the enterprises of special importance for the economy. According to him, this is an evidence that the government is consistently working to implement corporate reforms and help to attract investors to Ukraine.
