From June 1 to today Ukrainian banks have issued 9 billion 187 million UAH to 8 534 agrarians and farmers, including 443 800 UAH under the program of portfolio guarantees 80%. This was reported by the ProAgro Group with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Small and medium agricultural entrepreneurs receive a loan for the purchase of fixed assets and to cover any costs associated with the implementation of agricultural activities. The program is aimed at creating jobs in enterprises. Since June 1, applications for loans under the program of available loans are accepted according to the usual formula of “5-7-9”.
“The Government and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine are well aware of how important it is for agricultural producers to receive concessional loans under war conditions. Therefore we are working on launching new credit lines for the agrarians. We also expect that in the near future the terms of payment of the loan body for concessional lending will be extended from 6 to 12 months”, – said First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky.
Thus, in general, during the year 2022 26 616 agricultural producers have attracted loans worth 47 billion 738 million UAH.
