The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the list of critical import positions in accordance with the laws of Ukraine “On the legal regime of martial law,” “On currency and foreign exchange transactions,” and the resolution of the National Bank of Ukraine from February 24, 2022 № 18 “On the work of the banking system during the Martial Law”.
This is reported by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Roman Leshchenko, informs “ProAgro Group”.
The relevant government decree recommends the National Bank to ensure the implementation of cross-border currency payments on imports of goods specified in the list.
In particular, among the goods critical imports to ensure uninterrupted preparation for spring field work and a sustainable food supply are:
- 3102 – mineral fertilizers or chemical, nitrogen;
- 3105 – fertilizers with 2-3 nutrients N, P, K; goods of group 31 in packages with a gross weight not exceeding 500 kg;
- 8701 – tractors;
- 1206 – sunflower seeds;
- 0105 – live day-old chicks;
- 0407 – fresh eggs in shells for incubation;
- 1005 – corn.
