Agricultural producers will be able to receive new loans on favorable terms to ensure the harvest within the framework of the program Accessible loans 5-7-9%. The maximum loan amount is 90 million hryvnias. The deadline is October 31. In addition, loans at the rate of 0% per annum, which were granted for the sowing campaign in spring, are prolonged from 6 months of the year.
Such changes have been made by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 916 dated July 29, 2022, ProAgro Group reports with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
Thus, until October 31 authorized banks will accept applications from agricultural producers for a loan of up to 90 million hryvnia. Funding will be provided under the program “Affordable credits 5-7-9%”. The interest rate will be from 0% to 9% depending on the category of the loan and the subject of entrepreneurship.
The credit will be given for a maximum of 5 years, if the agricultural producer takes it for an investment project and refinancing of debts, and a maximum of 3 years – for the financing of working capital. The agricultural producers will be able to attract such financing to successfully complete the harvesting campaign and prepare for the sowing campaign of 2023.
In addition, the borrowers who attracted concessional loans at 0% in March and May and were to make payments on these loans in August 2022, can now do it until February 2023.
