As of August 26 the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food has already signed 20 decrees on grants for the establishment or development of horticulture, berry growing and viticulture. Recall that the project is implemented within the framework of the government program “eWork”.
It is reported by the “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In the world ranking, Ukraine occupies a high position in horticulture. For example, by the area of perennial plantations, it is on the 35th line, and by its share in agricultural land – 145th position.
At the moment, 20 agro from 10 regions (Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odessa, Kyiv, Bukovina, Cherkassy, Rivne, Volyn, Transcarpathia, Khmelnytschyna) will grow gardens in their areas from 1.34 to 25 hectares. The amount of grants for farmers is from 360 thousand UAH to 10 million UAH per recipient. The total area of plantations is 257.44 hectares. The total grant amount is 75 million 208 thousand UAH.
