From June 1 to today Ukrainian banks allocated 12 201 million UAH to 10 346 farmers and agrarians, including the program of portfolio guarantees 80% – 494,28 thousand UAH, reports “ProAgro Group” referring to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
The leaders in volume of crediting during this period are Kyiv region (2 138 million UAH), Vinnytsia region (1 669 million UAH), Khmelnytsky region (1 113 million UAH), Kirovograd region (930 243 thousand UAH) and Poltava region (733 541 thousand UAH).
In general, since the beginning of 2022, 28 428 agricultural producers have attracted loans amounting to UAH 50,752 million. Credit is granted to cover any costs that agribusinesses need for their agricultural activities.
Since June 1, applications for loans under the program of affordable loans are accepted according to the usual formula of “5-7-9%”.
In general, the program allows start-ups and businesses to get from 100 thousand to 50 million UAH for up to five years. The interest rate varies from 0% to 9%, depending on how many jobs the business will create and the annual revenue. Agribusiness banks usually offer special loan repayment schedule conditions.
