The Ministry of Agrarian Policy has signed an agreement on cooperation with the Egyptian Special Group for trading and investment, ProAgro Group reports with reference to the information of the ministry.
“Egypt is an important strategic partner for us in the development of areas such as food security and agro-industrial production. Any cooperation is valuable for us and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy is ready to support our new partners and develop this collaboration,” said Minister Roman Leshchenko.
Both sides discussed cooperation directions in the context of information support on land transactions and exchange of information on grain crops, animal feed and fertilizers trade.
The chairman of the board of directors of the Egyptian company Mohamed Asad noticed that together with Ukrainian companies and on Ukrainian technologies the new dry (grain) port in Egypt is being built.
“We hope that this will not be the only project implemented by joint efforts. Now we are the center of supply of agricultural products in the East, so we seek to invest in grains and crops in Ukraine,” he stressed.
