Ukraine has no plans to limit export of wheat – UGA

Ukraine in 2021 obtained a record harvest in the history of Independence – more than 107 million tons of grain and oilseeds.

Ukraine also secured a record harvest of wheat this year – 32.7 million tons, while the country consumes no more than 6-7 million tons of wheat a year, and has to export the rest.

This is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to the message of the Ukrainian Grain Association.

The Ukrainian Grain Association together with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine has its finger on the pulse of grain exports and analyzes the rate of trade every month.

“UGA has once again received confirmation from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine that there are no risks to food security of Ukraine and no restrictions on grain exports are planned,” the statement says.
