Ukraine to cancel wheat export licenses starting next month

Ukraine plans to cancel wheat export licenses at the beginning of July.

First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy Taras Vysotsky said this during a meeting at the European Business Association, ProAgro Group reports citing EBA information.

Also, according to Vysotsky, to open alternative logistics routes, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine is negotiating with countries to use the Baltic and Polish corridors for the export of agricultural products.

“Let’s hope that some positive decisions in this direction will appear in the near future”, – the first deputy minister said.

In addition, he said that in the near future it is planned to separate the queue for the import of goods with perishable products at once in two checkpoints on the border with Poland – in Krakowiec and Jagodin.
