As of November 1, eleven banks issued loans under state guarantees on a portfolio basis to the amount of 6.5 billion UAH, ProAgro Group reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Finance.
By type of economic activity, the largest number of loans, partially secured by state guarantees on a portfolio basis, was issued in the wholesale and retail trade (760 loans) for a total of 2,065 million UAH, agriculture (594) for 2009 million UAH and the processing industry (337) for 1,483 million UAH.
The biggest demand for the program is observed in Kyiv, where a total of 188 loans worth 795 million UAH were granted. In Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, which are in the top three, this index reached 141 loans (378 million UAH) and 137 loans (404 million UAH), respectively.
