The United States continues to assist Ukraine in supplying grain to countries that need it. This was stated by the United States Secretary of Agriculture Thomas James during an online meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Mykola Solsky, ProAgro Group reports with reference to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
He also assured that the United States supports the Grain from Ukraine initiative and allocates about $ 20 million for its implementation. According to him, the funds will be provided through the United States Agency for International Development USAID, which will direct financial support through the UN World Food Program.
Mykola Solsky thanked the American side for the promptness in providing support and noted that Ukraine highly appreciates all the assistance provided.
“We understand that the results we have are the joint efforts of all partners, in particular the United States,” Mykola Solsky stressed.
