Verkhovna Rada passed the state budget for 2022

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in second reading the finalized bill №6000 on the State Budget of Ukraine for 2022.

268 MPs voted for the bill, with the required minimum of 226 votes, 35 MPs voted against, another 36 abstained, and 34 did not vote at all, ProAgro Group reports, citing Latifundist.com.

The amended bill on the state budget increases spending on the reconstruction, modernization and restoration of land reclamation systems to 1 billion hryvnias.

In total, the State Budget for 2022 provides 4.6 billion UAH for the support of agrarians under the following programs:

  • reimbursement of the cost of agricultural machinery;
  • reduction of the cost of loans and insurance payments;
  • development of animal husbandry, crop production, horticulture, viticulture and hop growing;
  • subsidy for irrigation for 1200 agricultural producers.

In addition, funds will be allocated for:

  • land reform – 715 million UAH;
  • creation and updating of topographic maps and plans – 329 million UAH;
  • inventory of 1.7 million hectares of state land – 220 million UAH;
  • development of land reclamation complexes, maintenance of water management systems – 2.7 billion UAH.
