Vinnitsya region has summarized the results of this year’s harvest. Grain and leguminous crops have been reaped on the area of 900.9 thousand hectares, reports ProAgro Group with reference to the information of the press service of the Oblast State Administration.
Totally there were threshed 6811.2 thousand tons of grain at an average yield of 75.6 c/ha, which is 27.9 c/ha more than in 2020.
Corn was harvested from the area of 458.9 thousand hectares, 4,467 tons were threshed at an average yield of 97.3 centners/hectare, which is 44.2 c/ha more than in 2020.
3 sugar plants (in Kryzhopil, Gaisin and Zhdaniv) continue to work in the production season-2021. 2 sugar refineries have completed work on processing of raw sugar.
As of December 17, 2 387,6 thousand tons of sugar beet were accepted for processing, 2 282,7 thousand tons of beet were processed and 338,7 thousand tons of sugar was produced. Last production season the region produced 264 thousand tons of sugar.
