Occupiers stole about 2 thousand tons of grain in Zaporizhzhya region

During May-June 2022, soldiers of the russian armed forces, threatening with weapons and physical violence, forced employees of a branch of a company located in the occupied Vasylivka district to load wheat onto vehicles with no Z license plates. The occupants took away more than 1.2 thousand tons of grain stolen from the enterprise to an unknown destination.

This is reported by ProAgro Group, citing information from the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

On June 8-9, 2022, Russian soldiers armed with automatic weapons stole almost 500 tons of sunflower seeds from the warehouses of an agricultural enterprise located in the village of Nesteryanka, Polohy district.

Under the procedural supervision of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Prosecutor’s Office an investigation was launched into these criminal proceedings for violations of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Pre-trial investigation is carried out by the investigators of the SSU Office in Zaporizhzhya region.
