According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the harvest of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine as of December 1, 2021 amounted to 84 570.4 thousand tons, which is 33.5% more than last year’s harvest.
At the same time, according to ProAgro Group, the harvesting area of grain and leguminous crops this year amounted to 15 380.3 thousand hectares, which is 4.4 more than last year, and their average yield reached 55 centners/ha, which is also 28.2% higher than last year.
There were harvested 32,719.7 thousand tons of wheat, 9,646.2 thousand tons of barley, 39,819.4 thousand tons of corn, 581.9 thousand tons of peas, 616.1 tons of winter rye, 494.8 thousand tons of oats, 113.4 thousand tons of buckwheat, 205.7 thousand tons of millet and 51.5 tons of rice.
In addition, the sunflower harvest amounted to 16,439.8 thousand tons, soybeans – 3,409.3 thousand tons, rapeseed – 2,960.1 thousand tons.
