Ukrainian farmers threshed 80 million tons of grain

As of November 25, grain and leguminous crops were harvested on an area of 15.2 million hectares, which is 95% of the forecast. With an average yield of 52.5 c/ha, 79.7 million tons of grain were threshed, reports ProAgro Group with reference to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

The leaders in harvesting are Vinnytsia (6.2 million tons), Poltava (5.6 million tons), Chernihiv (5.4 million tons) and Odessa (5.1 million tons) regions, and Khmelnytsky leads by yield with 80.4 c/ha.

Corn was harvested on an area of 4.8 million hectares (87% of the forecast), 35.1 million tons of seeds were threshed with the aversge yield of 73.3 c/ha. Agrarians from 8 regions have finished its harvesting, and the highest yield is in Khmelnytsky region – 117 c/ha.

Buckwheat harvesting is completed on the area of 84.2 thousand hectares, 110 tons of crop have been threshed, the yield is 13 c/ha. Its highest yield was recorded in the Kyiv region – 17.1 c/ha. Millet harvesting is also completed: 191 thousand tons of grain were threshed from the area of 77.9 thousand hectares, the yield being 24.5 c/ha.

Sunflower was harvested from the area of 6.476 million hectares (99% across Ukraine), 16.2 million tons of seeds were threshed at the yield of 25 c/ha. The harvesting is completed in 19 regions, and the highest yield is observed in Khmelnytsky region – 34.3 c/ha.

The harvest of soybeans is completed from the area of almost 1.3 million hectares, the yield reached 26.7 c/ha, more than 3.4 million tons of seedswere threshed. Harvesting is completed in 22 regions, and the highest yield (33.7 c/ha) was recorded in Khmelnytsky region.
