JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” approved new rates for the use of wagons, as well as estimated speeds for December 2022.
According to ProAgro Group, this was reported by Rail.insider with reference to the information of the deputy director of the commercial work department of UZ Valery Tkachev.
According to the new prices, grain carriers will rise in price the most (by more than 50%) – up to 4300 UAH/day.
“Over the past 3 months, the utilization of grain carriages of UZ (the level of use of cars) exceeds 90%! This confirms the high level of market demand for this type of car! Therefore, according to the current procedure for revising rates, the actual (base) rate of payment for the use of the UZ car should increase to the maximum (maximum) rate, which today for a grain carrier is 4300 UAH / day”, Valery Tkachev wrote on his Facebook page.
He also added that the average cost of using grain carriers at auctions is already higher than this value.
